Don't know if I've posted this pic before or not, but this is the bathroom at the lake where I take a lot of pics and bass....nge

Ground level contains his and hers bathrooms, lower level at water level has a "warming" room for ice skaters in the winter, inside it is equipped with many cast iron hot water heaters on the ceiling, and benches with overhead hat shelves. If you go to you tube and type in "Newburgh Jammers" you will see what the outdoors looks like, and the lower level veranda. All the videos were done by me with my FujiFilm S2000HD point and shoot camera on HD video.....nge

Here is a view from the portable floating fishing pier.......nge

Being from South Texas, it is difficult for me to grasp the fact that a large lake like this could freeze over and folks would ice skate on it. I find this to be both amazing and interesting. Do folks also ice fish on this lake? Kelley (Texas) :)

It is a public lake, it is in Edward N. Hines park in Livonia, Michigan. I think it is 152 acres in size. Did you do what I told ya to do, and go to you tube and type in "Newburgh Jammers?" That is the name of the lake (Newburgh) and these guys jam for free. Yes more and more people are ice fishing every year. Because it is such a small lake, it doesn't all freeze over, last year I think the ice was only 4 inches thick out from the dock in the above picture, they catch bluegills, yellow perch, sunfish, an occaisional bass (have to toss those back after Dec. 31st.) crappies, once in a blue moon, they catch a channel cat, northern pike, muskie, and sometimes carp. During the summer, spring and fall it is not uncommon to catch 25 pound pike, 7 pound bass, 15 inch yellow perch, 10 to 12 inch bluegills, forgot to mention there are also, hard to catch walleyes. If you type Newburgh Lake Livonia, Michigan in your search bar, you may find more info on the park and lake............nge

well, then that is the lower area of that comfort station. Just so happens the jammers were there that day
