This is a very complex piece of equipment with a myriad of features. I'm sure each individual with an interest in it will have their favorite topics that they want to discuss and the questions will come fast and furious. But Randy is only one guy and there are enough features that I'm sure many will figure out how to use them in combinations that best suit their style of hunting, that Randy hasn't even tried or maybe thought about. Think about the Explorer/Etrac users and the variety of settings which are personal favorites and that vary from person to person. Performance testing? Well it's location, location, location just like real estate.
To the beep-diggers who were expecting a one knob-ed beast that will hit a quarter at six feet, well this isn't it, you're at the wrong end of the car lot, the Compadres are down thatta-way >>>.
As far as price, who would have thought 10 years ago that guys would be dragging around $6K prospecting detectors hunting for relics in red dirt? Those relic hunters sure haven't been shy about putting down the cash!
Lastly, this is a Flagship model, a statement addressing the high end pro-sumer market. Think Viper, Tesla, or one of those little red Italian rockets.
