Color screen for etrac?

Before i purchase the etrac, i wonder when a color screen will be introduced?

Why, so they can raise the price by 200 bucks and have the same machine. Personally I could care less about a color screen, its not like I'm trying to watch TV on it.

would this be like my mum who INSISTS on having her shoes and handbag a matching colour so if they sent you a variety of say six colours you could swap them to match your teashirt kewl dude i will e mail minelab today and suggest it i am not sure if i will get an answer lol

its that english sense of humour coming out but i did think you meant a coloured visor screen hence my retort but yesssss a colour screen would be really kewl but i just think a few of the guys have more important things on their wish list as discussed on a previous post WE CAN ALL WISH LOL

I don't think anyone knows at this point in time,IF we'll ever see an Etrac with a colour screen.

I think that a lot of users are now used to finding by using the tone id an then refer to the postion of the cross hair location and/or the digital value and make a decision from there whether to recover the target.There was a time when it seemed that a colour screen might have been a really useful feature, but the Etrac, even as it is now, is very capable detector without a colour screen.For me,I don't believe that a colour screen version, unless it has a really notable enhancement in it's detecting ability is going to cut it for me. If anything, a detachable and or adjustable angle control box would be very handy.
