Colonial Site Find

Was back at my colonial site on Friday. Didn't find much. This old cooking kettle was the best find I made. Really wasn't back there for to long. Was just to hot. It was deep in the ground, close to 18" at least. Thanks for looking, Joe.

Sounds like you might have a pretty good site there joe. I do a lot of relic hunting too, it's my favorite next to water hunting, of course. Maybe next time it will be old coins or buttons, who knows !

Good Luck !

Thanks Blink, already got my share of old coins and buttons from this site. Actually found a 1840 half dime not far from where I found the kettle. Got the 1852 $1 gold coin down the road a bit. I think the kettle is one of my favorite finds. Don't usually dig big iron, couldn't resist this though. Joe

I like the old iron pot! I'm also enjoying the secure feeling that having your well-made cover on the AT Gold gives me! She's looking stylish, and even my (unintentional) New Mexico torture test hasn't put a mark on it! :super:

Thanks William, I'm glad you like the cover. Everybody seems very pleased. Got some more colors and a video coming soon. Joe
