Colonial, silver, wheaties, horses, and buffalos.

I got out on the 8th and 9th to the beaches with my good friend Bernie K. WOW! there where lots of guys out there.
IT was good to be there on the beach after the storm. As usual, I feel no need to clean up all the clad and display it along with the trash. In addition to the clad and trash I got nine wheat cents, a merc dime, a large colonial copper which I can vaguely make out the Indian holding the hunting bow. That means it is my 3rd 17?? Massachusetts half cent. Also got two buffalo's, an old pewter toy horse and a very small religious medal.
I am having a great winter time detecting adventure. However I long for the spring so I can hit the wide open fields with my Sovereign GT.

That half cent is awesome !! good hunt . Jim

WOW Jason, you are cleaning up the beach! Would you be able to provide a closer pic of the half cent? Thanks - Jim

Jim.
The half cent is soaking in olive oil.
I set a date for a month on my smart phone to take a picture after it comes out of the oil bath.
If I forget give me a heads up.
But I will get a calender alert to post a better pic of it.
Hopefully a month in olive oil does the trick as right now it looks like hell.
