Colonial finds on 4/18 & 4/22 with Sovereign GT

Here are some pics of the four colonial coins and the large cent I recently found along with a few other relics and whatnot's. The coins where and are real rotten looking due to the New England soil and they are beyond repair by an olive oil bath. My quest will continue for a Spanish Reale. Also you can see a picture of a little copper owl good luck charm my wife gave me last year. So last week I hung it from my Sovereign GT and whamo the old colonial coppers start flying out of the ground. The place I hunt also has a big lake at the site so I can not wait to get back there and do some trout fishing as well. Sorry the pics are not that great but I can confirm one coin is a Bust half cent and a large cent. The others are most likely the same or George's.
PS I love my Minelab cup I won at the NH Bob club hunt.

That little owl guided you right in..... very nice

It's a shame what time underground can do to copper, so many beautiful coins were made from it. It's still awesome to find something that's over 200 years old!

some come out better than others..... still nice finds... youll just have to return to that spot and hope the next one has more detail.. thats what i do...

That soil is like the soil in this farm feild , VERYACIDIC it just eats copper ,but silver should come out better for you
