COLLEGE???Not likely,now........................

......I have been jumping thru all kinds of hoops to get my college training all set up-FIRST it was computer IT,but would have run out of TRA halfway through-THEN I switched to Web Development, and was told "YER ALL SET"!!!,then they said SORRY-THATS only parttime,we dont pay TRA on part-time schooling.......OK:THEN-SO;for the THIRD TIME,I switch my training to Pharmacy Tech, they told me:thumbup:"YES-You can do it in a little over a year full time"!!!WELL,last Friday the school called me and told me my schooling for pharmacy tech is going to be a month longer than I get TRA for, which expires 2/02/2012. I said "THATS OK,only a month without income"..................THAT BRINGS US UP TO TODAY:veryangry:-Guess what??College calls and tells me I cant complete the Pharmacy Tech program IN LESS THAN 2 YEARS,after telling me last week I can.Their answer???"Just change what you want to go for".............:rage:Now,its NOT that easy to change your courses-ALL of this has to approved and funded by Michigan Works!;and its a time-consuming process.(By the way:Michigan Works! people are the greatest-VERY helpful)........All this mess is being caused by the college I WAS planning on attending. They said "What about grants??"NOPE-Already applied;wife makes too much.THEN they say"STUDENT LOANS??"THERES a good idea-I will be 58 when college is done, and $8-10,000.00 in debt when I graduate.I gave this all up to the Lord,as to whether He wants me in school or not-The way I am looking at it right now;this particular college does NOT have their act together;and I can only wonder what would happen after I started attending.I called Michigan Works! today, and told my counselor about the run-around this school was giving me,and that as of right now, schooling is on hold. The way things are happening;maybe the Lord has other uses fior me than going to college................Prayers for my future,please...............

Is that you could go for AuoCAD Training. The Course is 6 months long. After your in school for 4 months Emploers come tothe school and hire you "ON THE SPOT" literally. They hire every student in your Class who has a Grade of B or better. Starting wage is $24.00 an hour. After you graduate you are Certified by the School, given a raise to $36.00 an hour and a small promotion Plus Partial Benefits. After one year you will or should be making about $60.00 - $70.00 an hour and FULL Benefits. Almost ANY major company you can think of will hire you no matter whre you ive. Even the State or City will hire you. AutoCAD is a Design/Enginering Program. Youare given a series of Schematics by the company. Your job is to enter thse schematics ooto the computer via AuoCAD. The faster you are the more you will earn although they are "definitely" more interested in ACCURACY than anything else. You'll be designing everything from screws to whole buildings, bridges, ships, planes and everything in between literally. How do I know this. I am going in for surgery. Then I'm approved to go to school for AutoCAD. I had formal training in AutoCAD before but lost it when I got hurt. That is how I knoow ok. I hope this info. helps and it serve too brightn your dy ok. Best Wishes. May God Bless You and Yours. PEACE:RONB

I would make sure I checked with other school before I got too upset (maybe you have). MOST pharmacy tech courses last no longer than 2 semesters. In fact, in Ky, I no of none that are 2 yrs. in length. Also, ppl over the age of 55 usually get reduced or free semester hours. Have you been laid off? If so, check out the WIA act and see if you are eligible. Many medical professions are WIA approved. Just a few thoughts I had. I wish you luck!

Lean on and trust in Jesus by keeping faith in Him and He will see you through to whatever He has planned for you to do for serving Him and providing for you and your wife for His purpose! Be patient, pray and it will all work out! Your wife is working, so that it a big reason to be thankful for and you don't have children to worry about, for they have to be fed, clothed and provided for too! You have it better than many, but I know you have your trials, too! Don't give up hope on What God Can DO, for with Him nothing is impossible to do that which will take care of His Children! May God Bless! Amen! Ma Betty
