Well, it is 19 degrees as I type this, according to my outdoor thermometer, and the wind chill is makes it 10 degrees...yesterday we had our first blizzard with flying snow and high winds...I actually walked 2.25 miles in it back from our local shopping mall...My mistake, as I started walking before it hit...Lucky I had my Down, Boston Harbor jacket on, good gloves, and a good hat...I was actually sweating in the coat, only my face was cold...I am still a tough old bird, but if my feet or hands get cold, I am done for....I frost bit my feet and hands as a child at age 8 when I fell through a pond's ice cover on a snow mobile (Now THAT was COLD)...Looks like I am going to have a long wait to hunt again...ground is like concrete here...Even the wood chips are hard to dig...the White's Classic waits for warm weather, and the Land Star needs to go back to the factory to be re-tuned...AGAIN!!!...
