Cold, Rainy Silver

Wesley

New member
Looking for Civil War ralics today in the blustry rain and found some silver instead. Finally broke my drought on the silver! Not to bad for a couple of hours, but it was cold and wet hours :surprised: The darker coin is a 1905 V Nickle....it is in poor shape, but I'll take it! The picture digging the standing liberty had a file to big to upload...sorry. All relics found with Etrac :please:

Thanks!

Wes

Hey Wes, that is a great day in anybodies book. I have found a lot of old coins & a few relics. I have yet to dig a Barber dime.
The Barber dime & the SLQ are tooo sweet. Good luck.

Thanks! I was a little surprised myself. The Standing Liberty and the V Nickle were just feet a part, but the Barber Dime was way across the field. We were hunting a possible Civil War Camp since my buddy Eric found some sweet buttons just days before. Landowner does not recall any structures on that part of property or any stories of a homesite. Has to be something going on besides Civil War stuff. Hopefully I will find more goodies. I am heading to a farm tomorrow that has produced some fine Barber Dimes in the past for my Uncle...we will see if so I will post. Thanks again!
