Cold outing today....

I decided to brave the cold today as the forecast for tomorrow is even worse.. cold and mixed precipitation....
Mostly been looking for clad the last several months trying to get my last jar full before the year ends and it has been too dry to dig deep.
I started out looking for clad today and later this afternoon, I decided to try an area where I have found a good amount of silver coins in the past.
I searched there for about an hour before calling it quits and only found two coins, but one just barely squeaked by from the silver years (1964 dime).
The other coin was a Jefferson nickel.
It has been awhile since I found any silver coins in this area, but apparently they are still there it seems.
Early on I found the piece of jewelry pictured at the left and it is also silver... not sure what it once was.
Both pieces were found in the same hole but separated as pictured.

Nice you made it out in the cold and it was worthwhile.
We been getting frost or rain, wind, some days foggy nearly all day. This winter wet and cold is getting to me - guess cuz I'm older. Winter used to not bother me much but now it just does - as well and summer triple digits streaks.
