I went down to the river to look it over and took this picture. It is on a bend and during spring high water, that island is sometimes under water.

As I started this post I looked out the window and saw these deer in the back. Lousy picture through the doorwall. There are about three others out of the frame

some feed out there for em? We used to do that up here when the snow got too deep, take some loose hay from the barn and throw it out at the edge of the pasture. The deer used to come in every night and check.
 
ballpeen hammer and a bag of cheezies for getting venison? Works good on the tame ones......BAMbi! :lol:

area as I there are others that feed them. They are fat and sassy. I saw a possum out there the other day
