cold hunt today but did ok

got out today for a 3 hour hunt today and found 7.52 in clad i am 3.39 away from makeing my goal of 50.00 for the month of april weather has been to bad to hunt for a week cold rain and snow wind but i am going to try to get my goal and i am dew for a good gold or silver find not many beaches here so the gold and silver are a bit hard to find wish me luck i need it lol

Seeing your totals I might just start going for the quantity and not just trying for the old stuff....lol

Don't believe I've dug $50 in 6 months let alone in one....But we each find our niche.

thanks garry i try to do a lot of clad hunts you can always find clad but sometimes finding old stuff is far and few so i like doing clad hunts to help pay for the hobby

Nice hunt. I hear ya but a silver quarter is $8.53 right now... Dime $3.37...

I don't know what it is but silver quarters are hard as heck for me to find and always have been.

In the last 15+ years I may have found 10.

But ask me how many large cents, KG coppers, Indians, reales plus smaller silver I've found and it goes into the hundreds.

Hunting is much tougher these days as many people detect and places get scanned. The good items
come few and far between but it's still out there, just in harder to reach places as a lot of things just need a coil passed over them.

For clad...follow the masses...for old items...RESEARCH

Or just blunder into an old yard where kids played with their parents money...lol
