Steve and I had a pretty good hunt today. Went back to that house I found the Seated half at. The weather wasn't too bad and the ground softened up by noon.

First target was the barber. We started at 9:00 a.m. so the ground was still pretty solid. Had to chisel the coin out and ended up gouging it. Steve was kind enough to inform me that barbers with O mint marks are rare-ish. Shame I ruined this one. Found the 44 merc, Kennedy half, and 3 wheats (20,42,53). Dropped Steve off and went to the park to finish the day. Pulled the 28 D merc and another 40s wheat. I didn't count my clad but I think it was around $1.30.

That is a good days hunt in anyone's book.

My dad is going to take his tractor over there this spring and till up the first 6 inches or so to help try and get some decent grass growing. I'll definitely be going back!

Oh yeah, back and back again. You're doing great Andrew. Keep it up. HH, Nancy
