Yes I faced Old MAN winter with my flannel shirt and Lite hoody jacket.....
I was going DANG Crazy Waiting for A break in the weather......
Because of the severe weather I could only brave the elements for 150 cold long minutes....

well we where shaking so bad in our boots .......But I did manage to find a couple merc's have not cleaned and my eyes aint that good anymore even with my glasses....I have a stero micro scope at the shop.......AND a funny french coin 1853 I have found a few differint ones in my day but not one like this so it is always nice to find a coin you aint GOT!

Here is the back and I do like the Eagle ......My E-trac is purr-ing like a snow cat....The lower merc was a real bogger to pull out of the Trash... I could hear it in a bunch of nails about every fifth pass........solid trash pits all around........

I understand what your saying about the cold .The temp is crazy here dropping into the low 60's at night. I have had to cancel a couple of night hunts because of it.
