Cold 50 coin day gives new meaning to the term "Bluenose"

From the land of the Bluenose.....what a reversal from yesterday. Mister man was it cold out there today. Traded in the fashionable green Garrett ball hat for the full furbie fur mukluk model hat and wore two layers of clothing. Picked up the Bardman and away we went. Showed Dave a few more schools and playing fields that we could do in the Halifax area stopping at one for a dig. Bardman's first coin was a twoonie and mine a penny and we called it a day.

Went to Tim's for a warm up and admired the view both inside the store and out. After dropping the Bardman off I went home and added another layer of clothing and headed to Fall River where I knew I could pick up the coins to make the 50 coin day.

With the wind whipping I trudged on. Niagara nose began to flow which I promptly whipped off on the sleeve of my jacket that froze making it a "stiff arm" that any NFL running back would be proud of. To boot my middle finger on my swinging hand froze also in a full upright position signifying that "Garrett is still no#1." Did the 100 yard dash in record time once that 50th coin was found.

Once home I got the "Triple Action heat treatment" to help me thaw out. Marie gave me the hot tongue (was out to long and she wanted to go shopping), a full body hug followed by a hot shower that drained the tank.

Nice now to be able to relax with Bud and watch the Broncos and Steelers.

Total for this miserable day was 50 coins @ $1.52, a clip and a name plate from Samsonite luggage!
