Coinstrike

Thanks Vlad. My friend has one he wants to sell but it has a small blotch on the LCD display. I talked to someone at Fisher because I wanted to replace it for him but he said it was too high for the cost of the display. He uses a Fisher 1236 and likes it a lot better than the Coinstrike. CU later Vlad. de John the Wirechief, CET.

I hunted for years with a Tek 9000B with an LCD that had been damaged by freezing. Is your friend the original owner, because warranty should cover it.

I don't think he is but I will ask. He doesn't seem to want to go to the trouble. It's not hurting anything but the blotch shouldn't be there. He wants to sell it but he isn't saying how much he wants out of it. I know one thing the man does not like the Coinstrike. I know that it has to work better than he is saying it does. I wouldn't mind getting it myself. I just picked up a CZ7a and it is great gonzos for coins! Ok Vlad thank you for the input and I take it you are a Fisher fan? Well I will chat with you later and take care. de John the Wirechief, CET.

Been using Fishers since the 70s, and everything else too.
