coinstrike trouble

I took my coinstrike out and it started raining . It started acting erratic and I took it home . I tried to dry it out with a blow dryer. All it does is turn on off and it is stuck in discriminate mode. When I push the touchpad ,it wont change any settings. Any suggestions in getting working again ? It will detect but thats all it will do. Any help would be appreciated!

if you can!.try to open it up,and blow dry the interior!..use JUST a warm setting,NOT a hot one!..only do this IF you can get the housing open without damaging the detector ,and don't do this IF the detector is still under warranty!

Those symptoms are exactly what I experienced with my first Coinstrike back in '02. I would give it a few days at room temp (no more blow drying) to be sure.
