Coinstrike Sniper Coil.

Hey all, I was curious as to your opinions on using the small coil on the Strike. I've been using it the past week or so and have found it to perform better than the stock coil. Better target separation, easier to ground balance, easier to pinpoint, haven't noticed a depth loss at all so I've kept it on and have been using it exclusively.

Are you using the 5.5" Fisher coil, or the CS-5 sunray coil?

Mark

I don't know about the just the CS, but my brother has don't his best finds using small coils on about ALL his detectors!
It looks like I'm getting the small Sunray CS-5 coil for mine when I get it I'll let you know if I get the same results. I could see the possibility of as good of depth in many cases because in areas with EMI problems you might not have to turn the sensitivity down as much, you might be able to run it Wide Open!

I've been running mine at Sens:7 Thresh:-5 and haven't had any issues with EMI yet. It's really been running quiet and smooth which I like...doesn't make a peep til I sweep over a target.
