Coinstrike question

For anyone who has used a Coinstrike, how many of you have had problems with electrical interference? I guess I've been lucky I haven't experienced it yet. When did they officially stop producing them? I've got one produed in November of 2007. I'm just looking for opinions form current or ex Coinstrike users.

Unfortunately it effects me a fair amount at times when I detect around where I live (SF Bay Area). I can usually still detect, I just have to turn the sens/thres way down to get it to behave. When I go out into the country/boonies with no EMI, as long as the soil isn't too wild, it works great.
