Coinstrike in Nothern Michigan soil

Hey everybody! I just ordered a Fisher Coinstrike. I really like the appearance of it and have read many good articles and opinions on it. I am just curious, Is anyone familiar or know anything about soil in The Upper Penninsula of Michigan. I Live in the Gladstone area if that helps. I am just wondering if a Coinstrike would be right for the soil in my area. I currently use a Minelab Xterra 50 and think it is mediocre at best. I hope I made the right choice on the CS. Thanx in advance. Any Tips on the Coinstrike would be appreciated as well.

I dont live in that area but I hear the Coinstrike is a great relic detector, especially in the all metal mode.Do a search on Google for The Fisher Coinstrike Homepage.Lots of great tips.I use one for coinhunting but havent been out this year so far.
