Coinstrike advice needed

Is this a "deeper" going machine than the CZ series? I had a C$ for a short while but really didn't give it a fair chance. The steel bottlecaps and rusty washers ruined it for me. Is the anyway to tell the difference bettween them and coins??? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks, Ron

ron i have had my coinstrike for about 2 months and where i have been detecting lately i have had to turn up the discrimination a lot. there is a lot of old rusty iron in the ground. i turn it up to the point where the iron breaks up a lot. from all that i have read the discrimination does not effect depth at all. i keep my sensitivity at around -15 and discrimination at around 70 and that seems to help me a lot with the iron at the site im at. you can go to google and type in coinstrike hompeage i believe and it should take you a page that is full of helpful info for the coinstrike. if i can locate the page i will pm you and send it to you. hope this little bit of info helps.
