It appears that there was a little delay on getting the info. out there about this coil.

Between everything going on at Fisher, and the person assigned the duty had to make a quick medical exit because her baby was coming, so the delayed announcement.

Those Explorers a excellent machines, but to damn heavy for me. I'm not a big Minelab fan either, although I do kind of like the Xterras. I'm still a Fisher guy, I don't care who owns the company.

I am having CS withdrawals and plus I want to drive a 5" coil on one. I can't imagine what its going to be like, but I bet it kicks the Tejon 6" combo butt.

We'll see what happens when the Explorer sells. Sure thought I was going to like that one as the notch features were killer. But the package just doesn't work for me.

I like a faster sweep and also a detector that resets quickly after hitting a target. But the Quattro was one of the deepest I have ever used and might have even been a tad deeper then the C$ but not by much.

I do believe these recent coil introductions caught everyone with their pants down.
