Just a quick question. Thinking of going with a whites as another option besides my A.T. pro. What do you guys/gals think is whites best machine for coins/jewelry? Thanks in advance for your thoughts.

Any of the MXT based machines - the MXT, the MXT Pro, the M-6, and the MX-5. The V-machines would also be good, but quite a bit more expensive.

I would have to say mx5 for sure even over the m6 mxt or mxtpro. Its kind of unknown as of now but its amazing for what your looking for.

Although the M series are all fine detectors, you asked for the best and without a doubt the V3i is the best White's has to offer for Coin and Jewelry hunting.

I was thinking the v3i also. Lot of good opinions and I appreciate it. What type of depth are people getting on silver with the v3i on factory presets? Just curious because for that sort of money I am hoping it will go deeper than my A.T. pro. Thank you.

Depth is dependent on MANY factors and hard to say what YOU will get in your ground. I get 8-9 inches in my mineralized ground for coins and have found .69 bullets at 14 inches. Some people will get 14 inches or more on a quarter on sandy beaches. Just too many variables like program used, coil, skill and knowledge of the detector.
