Hit it hard first light this morning - dug 159 coins by the afternoon. None silver and just junk jewelry, one pizza token and a heavy hello kitty pendant, 2 junk rings, a gold & diamond bracelet that turned out to be Avon.

Here's a volcanic "plug" that forms the major thrust of a peak along the highway just out of town. It's called Picacho Peak, which is funny as Picacho in Spanish means peak. People can climb to the top and enter their name in a log book. There also is a very nice RV park at the base of it ( Greg & Judy ?)

And here's a rare sight in the desert. Don't know what kind of tree it is but sure is pretty. The elevation here is 2400 ft, low desert.
No gold or silver today but I had a lot of fun. We got up to 74 degrees - but there was a bit of frost on the sand first thing this morning. It was rough for a while, all bundled up :) Hope you all get out some soon, steve in so az

Well, glad you can get out detecting and digging, most of us in midwest, north and northeast have snow and brrr cold, cold weather, but supposed to warm up to 40 by Monday here so will be wet and messy. Have to do shopping and get food and meds while it's not so cold! :)

God Bless!
