Coins to Au - gold in the pan

No detecting today, Sunday, (torrential rain again!) but had fun taking the kids to a gold shop. We used some of the coins found this year to buy 20g of Au.
The 1kg size looked nicer but we have to start somewhere...... :)
Younger son was looking around at all the jewelry and the staff were amazed he knew most of the 'stone' names. LOL
Wife and sons going to New Zealand this week, for two months. Winter there, brrrrrrr! I will stay and look after....mmmmm.....Japan and a couple of Garrett detectors?! :)

Isn't that a great feeling......getting rid of those dirty, crappy coins and then in return getting a nice piece of gold for all your efforts! Congratulations!:clapping:
