Coins in a pan.....now in the bank :)

Took some of the coins we have found this year to the bank and ended up with around US$250.
They didn't accept three coins (total of 3 yen) which I must admit looked more like flattened pieces of aluminum than coins. :) Quite hard to clean up beach found coins so I thought they wouldn't accept many of the others too, but they did, so great.

The local post office refused to take them saying they would damage their counting machine (as did the bank who checked them by hand), and I agree, but I also think we were just unlucky to get that particular post office worker. ;)

Ian @ the land of sushi with an empty pan :)
