WELL after reading reviews on the Coinmaster GT I took the plunge, and have one on its way ! It will be the only VDI machine in my current arsenial.Being a coin and jewelry hunter it will fit in nicely with my CScope CS 5MXP, Tesoro Toltec II, and a Troy Shadow X2

No offence, but looking at all the detectors you have had ,how did you find time to use them all? I just got a gt also but the weather is not cooperating,,seems pretty nice tho,does great on the air test,,we will see. Cheers

LOL about air tests it how it works in ground that counts., as for those detectors you go out and try em.I have come full circle best beep and dig for me is back to beloved Troy Shadow X2, and if I could find another 1270X as well .AS for TID machine I think it is going to be the GT.LOL But only time will tell

Had my gt out yesterday just to try in the yard with some coins on top of the ground,,hit all coins good but wasnt to strong on nickle in fact i probably wouldnt even dig the signel, i thought mabey if i put it to accept pulltabs it would do better,but same result,,now i know it aint the same as coins in the ground,but just wanted 1 to take it outside,been sick and ground still frozen,, any body else have any results?

Hey wood chuck I see you are a Troy detector fan. Have you ever trid the X-5? I just got one and they are depth monsters!
