Hey guys and Girls,is there any Mods that can be added to a Coinmaster Classic III? its the 3 9v battery one with the box under the arm.(1994 model?).What can be done to these machines or is it best left alone?.I wouldn;t be doing the Mods,it would be a qualified electronics geek !! Im Uk based:).Happy Hunting

Hi,
I use rechargable 9 volt block cells meant to be used in smoke detectors.
They only have 300mA but last at least 2 outings (and more)
I have my ProPointer powered by same rechargable 9 volt cell
I usually carry a full set of spares - just in case.
Don´t be fooled by units of oriental manufacture that boast to have much more power than 300mA

Good hunting

How's the depth on the coinmaster classic iii plus. I just got one but with two feet of snow its going to be. A bit before I use it...it has the blue max doughnut coil. Thanks in advanced

Depth is quite good thanks :)I have had coins deeper than 9 inches I swear!! I use 3 Duracell Batteries usually ,they seem good enough for me and as long as you rotate them now and then, best regards and happy hunting :)
