Coinmaster 5000/D

A friend got a nice 5000/D at a flea market in Arkansas and is not sure how many AA batteries it takes ?

I want to think 14 AA's ( pack and a (6) pack.

The 5000D had a rechargeable pack. The 5000D series two had 8AA's in the white pack and 6 in the black pack. The 5000D series 3 used 4 C cells. You can down load the manual on the Whites Electronics site. Rob

The 5000D takes 8 AA batteries, Radio shack sells the 8 AA pack battery holder in case your friend doesn't have one.
