Coin Tumbler Question

 What kind of coin tumblers are coin cleaners using. I seen some from Lortone, Finch and some other less expensive brand which was red in color? Do you buy their cleaning powders, or just use the common house items found posted in this forum? Thanks all.

If you have a Harbor Freight store in your area check their tumblers out. Inexpensive and good. All you need for cleaner is some water, aquarium gravel, a little concentrated cleaner, and a half of a brillo pad. Skip all the expensive crap. Other guys here have their own recipes and will probably share.

Yes, we do have a Harbor Freight here, weather or not they have it in stock is something else. Will call. If not, will order on line. Their price for the dual tumbler was amazing. So much so, I can also buy the sniper coil for my 250. Should have it next week or so. Ace 250 & accessories delayed due to expensive furnace failure / repair. figures!) Thank you Uncle Willie, I owe you a beer! :beers:

...How bout if I just bring some?

As long as it's not a lite beer(s) for me. Yuck. You and others. and just reading the post have been a wealth of information. I wish this type of information was available when I had my White's Eagle. Yea, I used it, found coins, trinkets but no rings or anything to be considered a relic. Always felt I wasn't using it to its full capability. Was always 2nd guessing my menu, sub menu, settings. I know I won't be second guessing settings with the 250. This forum has been a wealth of information and consider it a tool. Again Thanks.

detergent you put in. I found if I put to much in I get a lot of gasing . You will know when you have gasing because the tumbler charge will start bulging. If it bulges just release the pressure and start er up again.I like to use dishwaher soap aquarium gravel as well as Uncle Willy's tip on the brillo which he gave me about 2 weeks ago....Thanks Uncle Willy...it worked well !
