There's a tot lot close to where I work I've been eying for a while. Given the demographics of the community around it, it would seem to be ripe for the possibility of gold jewelry so I decided to give it a whirl with the C$ and the small coil for an hour or so after work.
I didn't find anything to be proud of, but I'm always amazed that the C$ can pickup 7"+ deep tiny targets. The C$ is remarkably sensitive to small targets, and the small coil goes deep. I was digging all + targets in the hopes of landing jewelery. Unfortunately fame and fortune weren't in the cards, but I did find my first purse , a fancy "diamond" studded "P" and my first United Arab Emirates coin, being a seven-sided 50 Fils showing oil derricks (what else?).

OK, I didn't exactly strike it rich, but it was a good warm up for the weekend.
