Coin$trike Deep Silver ?

Cal_Cobra

Active member
I just had a quick question about hitting deep silver (or any coins I suppose).

On the really deep stuff do you just get a quick high-tone blip, and may not be able to pick it up again nor pinpoint on it ?

OR is it typically repeatable and you are able to pinpoint it from the C$ ?

TIA,
Cal

I still remember what they sound like on a CS. Like a high tone with the mass taken out of it. Not small, just soft. You'll love it when you hear it. In my ground the number was always high, even up into the 40s. They still locked on well, and the sound was a soft high tone. Again, not a small sound, just a soft one.

Good luck,

Mike

Thanks Mike and Elton. I'm going to bring a silver dime on my next hunt to bury in an empty hole to get familiar with the sweetness :detecting:

and a nail. Bury one dime alone and the other with the nail nearby. The latter will yield the tone I was referring to in my last PM to you. :)
