Coin$trike Chest Harness ?

Anyone have a photo they could share of how the C$ control module mounts on the chest harness ?

I'm thinking this might be a good setup for beach hunting, but would really like to see how it functions before buying the harness.

thanks,
Brian

If you take the bottom/mount plate and thread a narrow nylon belt thru the holes, then attach the plate to the housing, it should be fine for hip mounting.
I would also try and seal the speaker and face of the control box with clear packing tape to keep the sand out. Alternately, you can
purchase a hipmount bag for the minelab sov/advantage line and it is a perfect fit for the C$.

Thanks for posting the photos. So there's a mounting plate on the harness for the control box, that makes sense, but only one shoulder strap, hmm.

How did you like using it vw242 ?

If you could get the "plate" it would be worth it. The belt and shoulder strap are really overkill on
such a light box. I had become so use to the method below, that when I finally got one, I left it home. If you offer me
a good price I will let you have this one.:beers: On a more current note, check out these modified Radio Shack headphones
that work great with the C$ and will keep you cool and cord free on the beach. The transmitter can be opened up by removing the
label/faceplate and the cans are more comfortable with a sunglass strap attached.
