I have a Gold Bug Pro got it to look 4 gold in Yuma Az. Will it shoot coins also? If so how do you set it up.
Haven't look 4 gold either whats the procedures.

Gold hunting is a learning experience; you need to learn what a nugget sounds like, and what a hot rock sounds like...hunting gold is generally in all-metals mode.

For coins, turn it on, ground balance it using the ground grab technique in all-metal mode, then put it in disc. and set your disc. at "40," gain as high as you can (likely maxed at 99 will work) and start swinging. Low tones are iron, when you set your disc at 40 (iron range is below 40), and all other targets will be a VCO high tone -- the louder the signal, the shallower and/or larger the target, and the quieter, the deeper or smaller the target. It will do you well as a coin shooter (in addition to your gold hunting).
