Since i cant go detecting because of this ruthless winter I did some dime coin roll searching, got 10 silver rosie's but it took about $1K worth of dimes to get em, was still fun though. It dont beat detecting thats for sure.

Coin Roll hunting's fun - I've only done a little so far - and it's a no risk deal !

The best I did so far was when I got a roll of half dollars from my bank about two months ago.
Ten of the Twenty coins were Franklin Half's - from the 1950's.

I've was told by few serious coin roll guy's that it's very rare to get that many 90% silver coins in one roll - I just had some beginer's luck.
One of these guy's cycled over $72,000.00 in half's and only got about a dozen 90% half dollars - so I guess I was very lucky !

WOW i coulnt imagine finding that many franklins, Ive found alot of 40% silver clad and an ocassional 90% that must have been one heck of a surprise

10 silver dimes from $1000 is REAL good, I coin roll hunt year round and when I do dimes I average 2 silver dimes per $500

normally I only do halves, this year I have found 26 silver halves and I have searched almost $10k so far
