coin or token??

Has to be a token. I wasn't able to find another example though. .
 
Definitely a token since there's no value indication on it. Very nice find.
 
It's not US currency so has to be a token of some sort. Very cool.
 
You know, MEV, the more I look at this thing, the more I think it looks like an old button.

Sube, that's what I used to think as well, until I was shown some pics of a big collection. Turns out lots of old buttons have intricate patterns on both sides.
It's more common than not. And the eagle/military theme was extremely popular.

I'm still leaning toward button...but I wouldn't bet any real money on it until I find a pic in a button reference. :)

You know it looks like a Coin on one side that has the eagle and Date and was changed on the other side with the Design

Is there any coin that looks that way on the side of the Eagle and the Date?

Button struck me as a possibility also. The circular area in the center of the reverse could have been the eyestud.
