Not sure about the Vanquish, but on the Equinox, nickels usually bounce between 12-13.... have occasionally seen TID drop down to 11 also.
Pennies and dimes can overlap also from what I’ve seen.
Early wheat pennies usually read lower than later dated copper pennies.
Other numbers look close that you have.
Have found quarters that read 28- 33, but most of them hit at 30.

Vanquish 340 air test numbers. In the ground numbers and masking could make them different.

The numbers I posted are for the Minelab Vanquish which has the same results for all modes and are always multi frequency numbers. They are similar on the Equinox depending what mode you are using and when you are in multi frequency. Single frequencies will give different numbers.

Also, forgot to mention 2013 zinc penny 19,20,21 on the Vanquish. I did my air test outdoors with my Vanquish 340 in All Metals Accepted mode.

Could you post some numbers for gold and silver jewelry? I've been using Nokta machines, but am considering an EQ600 for a second detector. thanks.

There really is no solid numbers when it comes to jewelry whether it be Gold Silver Platinum or whatever. Jewelry varies in size and shape and usually has a mixture of different types of metals. In my experience with Equinox 600 you can have low numbers.... BUT high tones. And it can be jewelry worth nothing or jewelry worth a lot. Start Digging.

I had a big 13 gram 14k ring in the high20’s- low 30’s so size does matter😁

Just a note on copper pennies:
1960-1946 and 1909-1942 are composed of bronze: 95% copper and 5% tin these sound about 2 TID higher than the next group.
1944-45 and 1961- 1982 are made of Brass- 95% copper and 5% zinc
the 44-45 were actually made out of melted shell casings during the war with copper added

Coins are not my specialty, BUT ammunition is..!

The special wartime pennies were never made out of meltdown cartridge cases.

During WW-II brass was one of the most valuable commodities on planet Earth..!! About 99% of all cartridge cases were made out of brass.

The wartime pennies were 99% steel and 1% zinc.
