Ahh Love those Tesoro detectors. I have a doctors (cardiologist) appointment next Friday and had to have blood drawn for him this week before I see him, I decided to go today. I brought my detector with me just in case, on my way home I noticed a large sized ball field. I think it is used during weekends as the school that is close by has its own fields. There was a building or a person around, it is divided up in about 4 smaller baseball diamonds and a couple full size baseball fields, and a number of other small areas. About my third dig out of the plug what looks like a coin but I don't believe that it is a real coin. I tried to take a picture of it but couldn't get it to come out. It is sort of a gold color and is about the size of a silver dollar. One the front of the coin it says-

One Of The Seven Founders
Oliver H. Kelley

One the back of the coin it says-

Birthplace Of Patrons Of Husbandry
Washington DC
Diamond Jubilee
Compliments National Grange Companies
Keene N.H. 1941

If I can get a decent picture of it I will post it.

If my son happens to go to one of his friends over the weekend I would like to take my wife with me so we could cover the area some more, I didn't make a dent in it as I had to be back for the school bus. Was only there about a half hour. This weekend is them dog gone yard sales in a neighboring town, my wife loves them but I rather be detecting so I am not sure if I will be able to get her to go.

This is a token that was given away by the National Grange Company of New Hampshire. They are still in business today and still located in Keene.

Forgot to mention they are an insurance company. Nice find.

Great job!

Man, if you had just found that before you got to the doc's, the blood sample would'a been easy. My heart woulda been racing!~

Thanks everyone.

Slingshot, anytime I want my heart to start racing I just thinking about the noise from them yellow things, oh wait a minute that doesn't make my heart race, it makes my head pound :poke::lol:.
