Coin Metamorphosis (Sort of)

Right after Christmas I placed an order at one of my favorite on line metals store. I went on to order some war nickels because I'm trying to put together two or three sets of Jefferson Nickels. I saw this little beauty and ordered it planning on spending some MD loot on it. It was $5.49 over spot which was just a hair over 800 back then. All the MD loot is still in the bank. I think I might buy a St Gaudens $20.00 gold piece when I finally do spend it.

Nice, the way golds gone up it rose in value just during shipping.

Reason I said sort of is because technically I ordered it planning on spending MD loot on it but didn't.

It's also not a coin.

If gold comes down a tick I'm still going to get a St. Gaudens.

I think gold will soon hit a thousand. Our economy is going in the toilet, our dollar is dropping fast, and the stupid Fed is talking about another interest cut which will make the dollar even cheaper and gold higher. Gold hit $900 the other day for a short spell.
