Just a question for the water gods here on the forum. I've always been a coin shooter, but starting to get the water bug as I've picked up some nice bling with the DFX on the beach. I know I'll either wreck the DFX soon, and I'm missing alot of stuff in the water. Can I pick up a top unit for 700 bucks, that's all I can afford for the summer, or wait till next year and just get the Excaliber? Desmond in Brooklyn

.... to buy the Excalibur II if I can be convinced that it's worth making the switch. The machine I have was received new last July and will still have 2 years left on the extended warranty. It has produced quite a few finds and I'm not sure the switch to the Excal II is worth it at this time.
