found this coin holder, didn't know what it was till i got home, it was empty, forgot to scour the hole but i remember where it was i am sure i can find it. search the internet for info on it , no luck. has anyone ever seen one like it? after visions it could have been full with pre 1900 coins

Very nice .. I think my grandfather had one of those.

i found a plastic one with a place for 2 pennies. it had one wheat penny in it from the 1950's. it was used to advertise for an insurance agent.

That's pretty interesting. I guess a way to keep your pocket change organized. How many coins would it hold in each section? I never saw one like that.

Very cool. I have found and seen ones that hold tokens (like bus tokens). These date from the 1920s-1940s. I'm not sure how old yours is. Looks like a manufacturer's name on yours (Clover?) so you may want to check the internet. HH
