Coin Below Iron - XP Deus vs Minelab Equinox 800

Hello I have not found any video that improves the results of Nox
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NIrZsdW3vPQ

When hunting in the field and getting a response which may hint of a possible goodie--most everyone changes orientation 90° and sweeps over the target.
Have you testing the Equinox by changing as many variables as possible (including all the frequencies?)

Thank you for the advice, I haven't the Equinox but I would like to know if someone can make a video test improving these results because it is not terrible in this test..

Not only that, but I wish he have tried it with a nail right ON TOP of the coin. However, it is revealing that the Nox couldn't get it (at least not quite so clearly as the deus was getting it), in the limited parameters of that test.

These tests have their greatest values not in actual detector comparisons but also as a means of judging both tester and machine ONLY IF YOU VERIFY THE TEST RESULTS WITH YOUR OWN TESTING. I have seen a number of "testers" (posting on numerous forums , under numerous user names) showing videos and pictures of these scenarios with statements such as , not a peep from the Deus , or , SOL on the CTX , but , when one does the test for themselves the results are dramatically different. This gives you a great deal of insight into the machines actual capability and the competence/credibility/motivation of the tester.

Haven't seen any videos on Deus vs. Equinox with iron separation using nail or several nail's, seen people posting. Probably won't, these are not what I feel true test comparisons.

Actual flagged targets from an iron laced site are probably better for test purposes, I'm getting better separation with my Deus using an 9" HF coil over the Equinox on flagged signals. Tough soil, very thick with iron. Deus with HF coil has an edge in my soil, audio information is much better.

If we would see proof that it works on video, it would be great  but I think we'll have to wait.
it would have been nice to see him for a glimpse of himself being able to do because this test leaves me on my end.
Sorry for vocabulary google translate is my friend :)

Depends on soil conditions, if soil is not too mineralized 77B may have an edge in thick iron over today's top end but that may have come to an end.

Today's models are pretty darn fast, especially a Deus and if using a HF coil separation is even better in these iron patches.

Its getting to were I stopped using Compass 100 kHz models, poor stability in mineralized soil, or farm land with chemicals this effects performance with 100 kHz TR models. Today's crop of higher kHz models are great, I'd rather use today's technology they are much more reliable on performance.

Still, I do use older vintage models mainly for fun. Not for serious hunts, just for a good workout or to step back in time for a few moments.

Take care Vlad,
Paul

I've been saying this for years, most admonished me when I say it, though. I'm sure their is something gained from these test but not sure what yet.

Detectors react differently through the Air than the soil. Secondly iron with a halo sounds entirely different at 6" than dug and on top of the ground. And lastly signal processing can be skewed by depth and halo`s

Just my thoughts.
