Coin and a blast at the beach

Man that is some serious wind! It was all I could do to angle in to the wind and stand still a few times, but then it would ease off and be fine, people walking their dogs, then BAM! It would blow again, people were actually blown away! My sand scoop gave me good purchase, and I am getting to be pretty deft with the leverage and boulder lifting now. I raised 1 bolder up through 1ft of wet sand and then rolled it out the way so I could get the target from underneath it, then plopped the big beast back in to the sand soup.an 1899 1 penny coin.
I found about 7 other coins, 3 of them were old pennies and the rest were modern coinage. I think I did detect some gold today, it was faint but just the right noise. I did get closer to it, but then it disappeared. I was in a very wet area of sand, and I knew as I started to dig for it that it might get away. I did a few rescue digs, but no joy. Looking back perhaps I should have tried harder to locate it, but I knew it was touch and go at the start on that target. Had a few today that were well tucked away under rocks at the bottom of clay rock pools that I managed to get pretty quick, I am learning!

I dont know man!...You might need to seek some professional help with your detecting addiction?...If you are not ready to admit you have a problem, then nobody can help you! So warm up, put on some dry gear, and GET BACK OUT THERE! Although, for safetys sake, If you dont feel like you are running on all eight, either stay here, or crawl into the nearest pub and catch up on the local chatter...Nice coin!:clapping:

Way to do it WW...glad I don't have to deal with boulders. I'll bet that wind was fierce, been reading up on the weather you've been receiving....stay safe.
With time I hope to be understanding them Xcal tones also. GL

Nice coin. It's a beautiful day here, but I can't go dirt fishing for a couple more days.
