coiltek WOT coil used on the SE or 2

depth on coins in places I have cleaned out is it pretty good or do you only get the coverage?
tried a sunray 12.5" did not go deeper at all.

Depth is the 15" WOT's strong point with coverage being secondary. I have heard Sunray Coil is very good also. Can't speak from experiance on the Sunray Coil though.

It depends on the ground if the coins stay at a certain point it dosnt matter what size coil you have.
The 12.5 you tried should of picked coins up deeper if they were there to find.

I know all the variables concerning the different ground conditions and locations.
What I would really would like to hear is the depth someone has seen with their own eyes this coil is capable of in a real world conditions not some air test etc.
Just need this bit of help before I purchase one.
Thanks again to everyone that answered the post.

I recently found a small oval silver button at 12 inches with the wot. I recently hunted a area with the stock 10.5 coil, then hunted with the wot and found more coins, then hunted with the small minelab coil and found more coins so it is hard to say which is better.

Thank you sir,
I hunt some cleaned out places that I did myself and I want to hunt deep to get the deep coins.
My site goes back to 1840, its where the family settled when they first came over from Germany. I have cleaned the site out over a three year period, found barber and I know it has to hold some seated coins.Only interested in getting the deep ones. Thanks for the help.

I had a 12.5 and later a 14" Excelerator on my XS II and saw no extra depth beyond the 14-15" I was pulling old coppers with the stock coil. After some research and talking to some people I was convinced that Minelab had the most productive coil for the machine in its own 10" stock DD.
Just my opinion.
