I ordered one today and wondering if anybody else has used one. I know the Digger coil they make for the Xterra's was the bomb and Coiltek is the only company that Minelab supports in coils .... going to be selling the 8x6 SEF next week when it gets here

I'm running a 6" Treasure Seeker. Pretty impressed.

I just got it today and can't wait ... if it's anything like the Digger coil for the XTerra's it will be worth every penny. they claim it's as deep as the stock Pro Coil but with better separation. The SEF 8x6 is going up for sale

Was you able to use the new coil yet? Id love to know how you liked it compared to sef 8x6 or stock pro coil.

I did take it out for a little today to a local park that has been hammered and got $0.28, a bunch of headstamps, many 22 casings and a 25 caliber bullet. does seem hotter and very stable ... hits were loud and clear but none were really deep, separates very well too. I even turned it over to manual sens. and jacked it up to 25 and ran it for a while and it was still pretty stable just had to slow down a bit, auto +3 was 19

give it a good test today at a spot I had hit with the 8x6 SEF and it kicked it's butt ... got a silver heart pendant, 6 wheats, 1912 V nickel, 1902 IH, silver plated pocketwatch, 1934 Half Penny

here is some of the finds from the above post

so far I have dug two pieces of a large crotal bell and I had an itch for an intact one, only have one small one so far. I get to a little lever spot that looks like some kind of building had set there and got a big 12-45 hit ... too big for a coin, I dig and what pops out a large intact crotal bell, move 5 feet and have two very close 12-37 hits, what pops out ? Two small intact crotal bells with some sort of gold plating. gets about that time and working out front and what pops out on a 12-14 hit ? small gold plate woman's ring at 7" ... no coins but a great day with some kerosene lamp part, chrome plated buckle off supenders, back to pocketwatch, brass back to a makeup case, and other relics

proved it's self again today with a hard dime hit, dug a 45 Merc at 8" in loose sandy soil

What is the difference in the Coiltek Treasure seeker coil (5 X 10" DD) and the Coiltek Joey coil (5 X 10" DD)?

Coiltek website says the Joey is a gold prospect hunting coil
http://coiltekmanufacturing.com.au/10by5-elliptical-joey.html
The Treasureseaker is a coin relic coil

The Joey coil you made reference to is for the Minelab gold detectors.-----Coiltek also makes a Joey (5 X 10" DD, coin/relic) coil for the Explorer series/Etracs.

I think the Treasureseaker replaced the Joey Coin/relic coil as I only see it listed under the gold prospecting coils now
