coiltec vs. nuggetfinder coils...

Any PI folks have a preference, and why please. Looking to get a 14 inch ellipitcal mono, and can't tell if both are litz wire, etc... Thanks in advance!

N/F litz, Coiltek not. Hard question sort of which is best. On my TDI Pro I run the Coiltek 14x9 mono and it works great. Tried it against the N/F 12 round which I loved on my 4500 but preferred the Coiltek 14 on the Pro. Bit of a coil shortage over here in OZ though and haven't had a real chance to do as much comparison as Id like to such as the Coiltek 14x9 vs the N/F of the same. On my 45 I ran the 12 round and 16 round N/F, and small 6 inch Coiltek in hard to get spots in thick rocky scrub. Just watch out for Chinese rubbish copy coils. They look like the real McCoy but are crapola. Hard to pick the diff they have done them that well, performance on them though is pathetic to say the least. EBay has heaps of them on there now, don't be fooled. If it comes from Mr Wong from Shuchong it'll be a rip off.

Hi B.T
The wet weather wouldn't help much either. Have you any of J.S Coils in stock yet?
Cheers Wally

Good heads up B.T.

Both 14x9"s are very good coils but the N.F. is more waterproof than the C.T.

Heavier but also take a look at the brilliant litz wire wound Minelab Commander 15x12" Mono coil.
