COILS ????

JEG

New member
I WOULD APPRECIATE SOME INPUT ON COILS FOR THE SE. I USE THE STOCK COIL ALONG WITH THE EX 12 AND A 6 INCH MINELAB COIL. I HEARD THE XS COIL IS BETTER THAN THE STOCK COIL FOR TH SE.
ALSO WHAT ABOUT SUNRAY COILS OR OTHER COMPANIES ? THANKS. AND, HOW DOES ONE PINPOINT ON THE LARGER COILS ? IT ALWAYS SEEMS TO BE OFF SOMEWHAT ...

The Sunray Coils are worth every penny JEG. They get the Depth you need and they tend to be more Stable than the Stock Coil. Also, Coiltek Coils are good also. I use the 5"X10" Joey Coil in Trashy Area's and do very well with it. To see how well I do with it, look at my new Post I did early this morning. 11 Silver and 27 Wheats. As far as Big Coils Pinpointing, I have the Sunray X-12 and the time that I have used it, it seemed that the Target was about half way between the Nose and the Center of this Coil. Hope this helps out a bit and Good Luck and HH.:detecting:
