Anybody have a chance yet to test the new 5X8" DD coil against the 6.5X9" concentric stock coil on the Ace 250?----Just wondering how those two coils compare (performance wise) on the 250.--------Thanks, Del
 
[size=large]i was just on the Garrett web site and saw they didn't offer the 5x8 for the ace series. they do offer the 8.5x11. so what gives? this is the second time i've heard someone say they have an 5x8 for the ace. do they or don't they have one?

Seems they do as someone on one of these Forums showed a picture of it. Must be brand new I would think. Widebody look at page 2.
 
Yeah, they got one all right (new out 5X8" DD for the Aces).-----I got one coming on the way from Richard (Backwoods Detectors).-----Was just trying to find out if anyone else has used that coil yet.-----Looks like I'll be the "guinea pig" with it on the 250! :biggrin:-----I think it will work out real well on that detector---hope so anyway. ;)----------Del
