Coils

On the GB Pro or G2, has anybody tested the new 5X10 DD bi-axial coil versus the 11" DD bi-axial coil in the "handling" (I.D.ing) of steel bottle caps (crown caps)?------If so, which coil did the best job in that regard?

Del, I use the almost exclusively the 5x10 and it handles the bottle caps about the same as the 11", I can't tell any difference. Have a little trouble with the deep uns.

Thanks Hobo----Good to hear from somebody that's used both of those coils in that scenario.---------Del

How is the senstivity of the 2.Is the new 5x10 more sensative to small gold then the 11".I am sending mine in for repair but want to get a new coil from the factory when I do.I bought this machine as my VLF gold machine. Its much lighter and more sensative then my Infinium. It just lacks the depth of my infinium but it does need repair and this could be a issue with depth.

I feel the shape of the 5x10 is better suited for nugget hunting but enjoy the short cord length and the larger sweep pattern of the 11"Any advice on this hobo but great.Thanks.

Rock, I do not know about the gold but look at these pictures on a penny. I think it rocks.. No pun intended .
