Coils warranty

Hi guys-----I just got off the phone from calling First Texas products (FT) and talking with Felix regarding the coil warranty question that has come up.-----The following warranty info. applies to both Teknetics & Fisher detectors.------When purchased new, there is a 5 year warranty on BOTH detctor and stock coil.-----When accessory coils are purchased, they carry a 1 year warranty.---He said when they are sent in for repair (whether it be the stock coil or accessory coil) you need the purchase receipt on them.----I told Felix that I would post this info on this forum and he emphasized that any that is sent in WILL need a proof of purchase receipt.-----You will probably have to call them first before you send it in and get an RA number also (return authorization number).------Thought some of you would appreciate this info as I know I got a little concerned myself with this talk of (possibly) a few leaking coils.-------------Del

Hmmm receipt..not sure I have one.....Bart ???? do I got one or do you handle that if I need it...which is easier knowing my ability to lose stuff...

Quick add- You MUST get an RA # before you send anything in for repair.
